Local Area Network

• Server: Windows or Netware.
• Minimum 150 MB of server disk space.

Dedicated Task Workstation/PC Requirements:

• (1) Workstation per wire service (eg: AP)*
• (1) Workstation for the character generator interface
• (1) Workstation per functional user (eg: producer review, analyst, talent)
• (1) Workstation for each manual input location/area
• (1) Workstation for each Accumulator
• (2) Back-up workstations (recommended)

PC Workstation minimum configurations:

• Windows Environment
  • Windows operating system (NT, 2000, XP)
  • Pentium III or newer with 512MB of memory minimum. (1GB recommended, 2GB with XP)
  • COM Port 1 or COM Port 2 available for each wire service and CG interface workstation
  • Standard video
  • Mouse or compatible pointing device
  • Network Interface Card (NIC)
