IDS in your medical office
Scanning with document management

We can try to tell you how great IDS is for medical offices but the following from a practice manager sums it up best:

“…The IDS system was different…made for anyone, not just those that may be computer savvy and the cost was by far the best deal I’ve encountered…The savings realized in recycling our patient charts and dividers has allowed the system to ‘pay for itself’, as well as eliminating the need (and cost) of an off site storage unit facility…

The ability to customize the program to our needs was a deciding factor in purchasing this program… (It) allows us more than one data set and will also store our accounting records, payroll records and personnel files.”

IDS and EMR

This client researched electronic medical records (EMR) systems for their practice and wanted to know how IDS would interface with various systems.

Since IDS uses the universal standard .PDF format, IDS will work with all EMR systems.

EMR systems attach IDS documents to patient charts the same way they attach lab reports, physician referrals, etc. - an IDS document is just another external .PDF file to the EMR system.

The ability to include your archived patient records into your EMR system easily, will help you enhance your patient care and ensure all of your patient’s history is available quickly!
